This was another painting I have painted for my schools magazine "DAS Magazine". I tried to make the background as neutral as possible and I used different skin tones to make it a little more realistic than the other abstract paintings to represent our true imperfect selves. The title of this painting, “Blindfolding the Truth”, represents how people are coping with this situation (global pandemic 2020); their denial, paranoia, fear, and all the other feelings they are trying to avoid. It's OK to feel, to think, and to reflect, but overthinking is unhealthy, and so is not reflecting at all.
